Friends, the following song has been stuck in my head, on and off, for the past two weeks, and I might have been asked by a friend to lead us in this song at a New Year's party...

While I've been trying to reign in my disdain for hipster culture, I stumbled upon this intriguing article highlighting some UK hipster food slang from The Guardian: The hipster food glossary: from French dip to burnt ends. Some terms included were sliders, kimchi, mac'n'cheese, and bubble tea. My initial thoughts:

• There are a lot of Asian culinary references...does that make Asians automatically food-hipsters?
• My God, I was already familiar with all the listed terms in the glossary, so there may be some truth to the statement above.
• Interesting to see what American food trends makes it "across the pond"...mostly of the unhealthy but delicious variety it would seem
